Welcome to Battle’s Counseling Services, LLC
Congratulations!! You are taking a big step and I commend you for that. You may be considering counseling for several reasons such as transition of a significant loved one, career/work related concerns, stress, family issues, etc. You probably have tried talking to family and friends but still feel like nothing is changing. Maybe you are suppressing your thoughts and feelings because you don’t want to be a burden to anyone. Now you are realizing this way of coping isn’t helping and decided to seek support through therapy.
I create a safe space for clients where you can be open, honest, vulnerable, and encouraged to be your authentic self- emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. We will work collaboratively to develop goals that are relevant, realistic, and attainable to support your therapeutic process. I will teach you strategies and techniques that will support you in “rediscovering your joy” with an eclectic approach tailored just for you.
“I define joy as a sustained sense of well being and internal peace- a connection to what matters.” -Oprah Winfrey

Our Services
-
Adults
Adults have the responsibilities of maintaining a home, career, marriage, children, etc. The required tasks attached to these responsibilities can be overwhelming and exhausting at times. We may experience a major life change such as the loss of a loved one, separation/divorce, loss of job, etc. that can trigger stress, anxiety, depression, etc. While these challenges are occurring seeking support outside of family and friends can be beneficial.
-
Teens (14 and older)
Teenagers are in the stage of life where they are learning to create their own identity. They have not fully developed the wisdom and maturity to deal with certain life experiences. They need support when dealing with friendships, family issues, school issues and major life changes, such as divorce, loss of a loved one, etc. During these times, they may need therapy to provide additional support in managing their emotions.
